If you're going to use these outdoors you should probably find a way to seal the inside so water doesn't leak through. They're sturdy and look good, but after a few weeks of watering my plants a stain appeared on the outside near the bottom. I assume water seeped through the "waterproof" finish. I tried cleaning it off, but wasn't able to. I now have a very unattractive stain on the outside of the planter. If it wasn't for this, I would give it a much higher rating.
