BEND, OREGON GRAND OPENING SWEEPSTAKES
The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Oregon, who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Dania Furniture, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase or payment of any kind will not increase chances of winning.
The sweepstakes begins on August 16th, 2024, and ends on September 22nd,2024. All entries must be received by 6:00 pm (PDT) on the closing date.
Participants can enter the sweepstakes by filling out a paper form at our Bend showroom. Limit of one (1) entry per person per day. Any entries not meeting the requirements or received after the deadline will be void.
Three (3) Grand Prizes will be awarded consisting of a decor bundle composed of one (2) Faux Monstera Leaf, or one (1) Faux Potted Forest Fern; one (1) Joei Velvet Lumbar Pillow, or Geometric Beaded Pillow, or Joei Velvet Pillow size 18x18; one (1) Round Pop Color Tray, or Rectangular Pop Color Tray, or Oval Lacquer Tray; one (1) Aivan Water Pitcher Large, or Ceramic Pagoda Vase II, or Jewel Ceramic Vase; and for one of the first bundle, one (1) Metal Tapered Candle Holders (set of 3). Total approximate retail value (ARV) of all prizes is $251.00. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. The value associated with the Prize is taxable as income and the Prize winner is solely responsible for taxes, including, but not limited to all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize.
On or about September 22nd, 2024, potential Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the entry period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Potential Prize winners will be notified via phone and/or email within five (5) days of the drawing. Potential Prize winners must respond to the notification within five (5) business days to claim their prize. Failure to respond within the specified time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Potential Prize winners will be required to sign and return (except where prohibited) an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and a W-9 tax form (the “Paperwork”) within ten (10) days of the Notification. Potential Prize winners must return the Paperwork within the date and time indicated in the Notification. If a potential Prize winner fails to return the Paperwork within the date and time indicated in the Notification, or is found to be ineligible, or if does not comply, such potential Prize winner will be disqualified and another potential Prize winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries received. If the Notification is returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification and an alternate Prize winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.
Prizes will be available for pickup within four (4) weeks after successful completion of the Paperwork, or delivery may be coordinated with Dania Furniture at Prize Winner’s expense.
Limit of one (1) prize per person, per household. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Dania Furniture reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Dania Furniture reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process, violating these official rules, or engaging in any misconduct that affects the integrity of the sweepstakes.
Dania Furniture reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the sweepstakes in the event of any tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Dania Furniture’s reasonable control that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the sweepstakes.
By participating in the sweepstakes, winners grant Dania Furniture the right to use their name, likeness, voice, and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Information submitted by participants will be treated in accordance with Dania Furniture’s privacy policy. By participating in the sweepstakes, participants agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the sweepstakes and fulfilling prizes as described in the official rules.
Dania Furniture and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") shall not be responsible or liable for:
By participating in the sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, damages, or liability due to any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to persons or property arising from or relating to their participation in the sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize.
In no event shall the Released Parties be liable to any entrant or winner for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the sweepstakes, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if such parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Oregon. Any disputes arising under or in connection with the sweepstakes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of any local, state, or federal court located in Deschutes County, Oregon.
