It’s shakes when I’m typing so the monitor “vibrates”. Also the metal bar in the middle is very bad positioned as it bumps agains my knees

Great size for office desk and beautiful design!
This desk does not just effortlessly lift like I expected it to. I can't get the desk to rise without help. One side gets stuck, and with the lift lever on the right, I can't get the left side to lift. It's a total pain, and I have to ask for help. If no one is home to help me, I can't stand up. Putting the desk back down is also challenging and it takes a ton of effort / pressure to push the desk back down. Disappointed to say the least.
Shopping was easy, from internet to store. Needed to see the desk to confirm it would be steady enough to not vibrate while operating sewing machines. The answer is yes. The desk is a great size, and the height adjusted to the storage units I placed on either side, creating a large work surface. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it for purposes beyond an adjustable desk. Lowering it does require two people while it is new, but it’s definitely worth that small inconvenience. My desk purchase included assembly, so I can’t comment on putting it together.
I set this up last night with just a couple snafus. (Really just me not focusing on the details in the image instructions). Neat lever for raising/lowering uses similar system to a bike brake cord. I purchased from the Portland (Hollywood district) location. Everyone from sales to warehouse have been very helpful and pleasant! I was able to try out the floor model, and I feel like it was much stiffer than mine. I much prefer this design to the motorized mechanisms for raising/lowering.
