Wood, reclaimed wood and veneer are all susceptible to both climate and the elements. Follow these basic care tips to ensure the longevity of your furniture:
CLEANING: When using cleaners, avoid wax-based furniture polish cleaners; some of the best-known brand name polishes on the market contain wax and silicone that will build up on the table surface, creating a "cloudy" appearance. Please read the contents and instructions carefully before applying a product to a wooden or veneered surface. For everyday cleaning, simply dust your pieces with a soft, lint-free cloth or feather duster. When heavier-duty cleaning is needed, wipe the surface with a damp (not wet) cloth or sponge, and follow immediately with a dry, clean, lint-free cloth.
DISCOLORATION: Please note that water will stain wood or veneered surfaces when left for a period of time, leaving a mark that can be much harder to fix. It is important to wipe in the direction of the wood grain to avoid unsightly streaks on the wood surface. Intense heat can lead to changes on the wood surface. Always use coasters, felt pads, trivets, or placemats to prevent heat and water from having direct contact with wood surfaces; such contact can cause discoloration. Direct sunlight may slightly darken or lighten wood furniture; move or rotate decorative objects on a regular basis to help to avoid odd light and dark patches. Note that based on the frequency of use and storage, dining table leaves may change tone at a different rate than the table itself.
GENERAL CARE: Avoid placing your furniture in highly humid or dry areas, such as directly next to air vents. Avoid contact with certain materials such as rubber, which might react with the finish of your product: oil finishes may be renewed by rubbing a light application of a penetrating oil with a very fine steel wool and wiping with a clean soft cloth to remove any excess oil.

I can’t edit my first review but I hope this update will help anyone considering this bed. We were extremely disappointed with this bed after we purchased it in 2020 and received a lackluster response from support to my original quality complaint. However, after leaving a review, customer service followed up and offered a complete replacement of our bed because of an extended warranty on the bed legs. We are much happier with the updated version of this bed. They fixed the issues with the legs and the bed is much more stable. The connection points have been reinforced to prevent breaks. I also suspect the legs are slightly less angled now, but haven’t measured the angles. It doesn’t affect the midcentury look and the final result is a bed that will hopefully last us for years to come. Plus, we didn’t have to ship our broken frame back. Thanks to the support team for following up and handling the entire replacement.

The bed looks great, but as many other reviews note the legs are prone to breaking a couple of years after purchase. The common theme seems to be a snapped screw on one or multiple legs. At this price point, I'd recommend buying elsewhere since this won't last 4+ years.

This bed is well constructed. The support slats are bolted and much stronger than my previous bed. The mattress is accessible so it’s easy to put on the sheets. The headrest is slanted so with a pillow I can sit up comfortably to read. Very pleased.

We bought this bed frame in 2020 with our Covid stimulus check (yay!). Based on the price, materials, and promised quality I expected a bed frame of a similar quality an Ethan Allen one I had owned for 15 years. I was wrong. Silly me! Within a year the legs had started to give out. Because the legs screw into essentially raw wood with no metal sheath or anything else to reinforce the connections, the daily use seemed to wear away and cause the legs to become loose. Now the holes that the legs screw into are completely stripped and I can lift the frame and spin and spin the legs and they won’t tighten. I also suspect the angled legs don’t help and the bed wasn’t properly designed to have these legs. The bed is now shaky and not stable. Earlier tonight I moved a little too quickly and one of the legs fell out and the side I was on collapsed. Cool. Me and my partner are of average weight and height (less than ~175 lbs each) and have done everything we can to reinforce the bed. You’re better off spending your money elsewhere. This bed frame isn’t worth the money because it wasn’t built to last. Beautiful aesthetic but lacks sound engineering and substance. Wish I had returned it when I had the chance.
