I love the design and the comfort but unfortunately it makes you sweat sitting on it. Since it is my work chair, I have to put a blanket on it when I am sitting for any period of time. I just assumed it was leather but when back and read the material and found out it wasn't. I really wish I could return it and get a fully leather chair.
This chair is a good one for my home office. It is comfortable, the ratcheting is easy to use, it is designed attractively, and, finally, the price was right.

The chair is very comfy, I sit in it for more than 8 hrs a day and am very comfortable, it has great cushioning and back support. It looks great too, the color is better than pictured, less orangy and more of burnt orange. My only complaint with the chair is the metal armrests could be more comfortable, some cushioning would have been nice but otherwise I love the chair, just what was needed.
I sit for about 5 straight hours per workday. The look, solid frame, smooth adjustable tilt/rock feature and relative comfort sold me. By comparison to the ergonomic spaceship chairs out there (not just by this seller but in general), which to me all feel weird, rickety and plasticky, in addition to being ugly, the Brock chair feels solid, smooth, classy and still plenty comfortable. The staff at Scandinavian Designs (Boise) was attentive, helpful, patient and not too salesy. My biggest concern before buying was what others said about the material trapping heat or sticking to skin. I tend to run quite warm and would expect to be the type of person to struggle with that. But it really hasn't been a problem or annoyance for me. I really only notice it when I've allowed my office temperature to climb beyond my comfort zone, at which point it's hard to imagine any chair feeling perfect.
