We love this bench! It's easy to wipe down after our 6-year-old eats dinner (he never uses a napkin and touches everything...) and it's incredibly sturdy. When I sit at the table to work, I like using the bench (rather than the chairs) so I can sit cross-legged while I type, and I'm always amazed at how comfortable it is for being so solid. We've had many compliments on how beautiful our new dining setup is and the kids really enjoy their special seat.

First item was damaged in shipping, SD was very quick to dispatch a new one, no questions asked. Bench is stable and roomy, and works perfectly with the matching Cress table (go figure). We are very pleased with the table and the service provided by SD.
