Teak outdoor furniture is quite durable, and naturally resists rot and decay. When left outside over a period of time, teak wood will gain a silvery patina; this patina is purely cosmetic, and is unrelated to the integrity of your piece.

To increase the lifespan and look of your outdoor furniture, simply cover your pieces when not in use. Outdoor furniture is designed to withstand the elements, but will begin to show signs of wear when left exposed.
Outdoor fabrics are hardy and resilient, designed to last well through normal wear and tear; these fabrics resist fading, mildewing, dirt, water and staining. While not often needed, cleaning outdoor upholstery is usually as simple as spot-cleaning areas that need attention with mild soap and lukewarm water.
Outdoor fabrics are designed to resist the effects of being exposed to the elements; note that like indoor fabrics, outdoor upholstery will look more weathered the longer it is used and left exposed to the elements. Over time outdoor upholstery will inevitably experience fading, and the longer your piece is exposed the more fading will occur. Maximum fading will be seen when pieces are left consistently exposed to the sun; exposure to UV rays can cause outdoor fabric fibers to react and break down, leaving pieces faded. Remember to shift throw pillows or decorative objects that you place on top of your outdoor upholstery so that your pieces will not have uneven fading or splotchy areas. To prolong the life and look of your outdoor furniture, keep upholstered pieces covered or stored when they’re not in use.

I guess that's why they where on sale. The material on top corners started to fray. For close to $200.00 dollars they should not be falling apart b4 we get home.

United StatesI like the look of the chairs and they are very comfortable. However, I had one chair crack at a weld after owning them for just a week and simply sitting on it a few times. No abuse or excessive loads. Upon closer inspection, some of the welds look rather questionable on all of the chairs. Dania replaced the defective chair within a week. I will have to see how they hold up over time.

United StatesI am exceptionally please with this chair. The quality, dimensions and design are of the high standards that I would expect from Scandinavian Designs. I shopped online on many, many sites and was not confident I would receive quality products from any of them - until I remembered the quality the SD reputation. The delivery charge was a bit steep. Suggest the SD make it clear that items can be picked up at the warehouse as an option.

United StatesWe wanted to buy the Farino set last summer but they were sold out so we jumped when they were back in stock this spring. The chairs are comfortable and look great on our deck. Living in the PacNW, we especially like the all-weather mesh.
