Wood, reclaimed wood and veneer are all susceptible to both climate and the elements. Follow these basic care tips to ensure the longevity of your furniture:
CLEANING: When using cleaners, avoid wax-based furniture polish cleaners; some of the best-known brand name polishes on the market contain wax and silicone that will build up on the table surface, creating a "cloudy" appearance. Please read the contents and instructions carefully before applying a product to a wooden or veneered surface. For everyday cleaning, simply dust your pieces with a soft, lint-free cloth or feather duster. When heavier-duty cleaning is needed, wipe the surface with a damp (not wet) cloth or sponge, and follow immediately with a dry, clean, lint-free cloth.
DISCOLORATION: Please note that water will stain wood or veneered surfaces when left for a period of time, leaving a mark that can be much harder to fix. It is important to wipe in the direction of the wood grain to avoid unsightly streaks on the wood surface. Intense heat can lead to changes on the wood surface. Always use coasters, felt pads, trivets, or placemats to prevent heat and water from having direct contact with wood surfaces; such contact can cause discoloration. Direct sunlight may slightly darken or lighten wood furniture; move or rotate decorative objects on a regular basis to help to avoid odd light and dark patches. Note that based on the frequency of use and storage, dining table leaves may change tone at a different rate than the table itself.
GENERAL CARE: Avoid placing your furniture in highly humid or dry areas, such as directly next to air vents. Avoid contact with certain materials such as rubber, which might react with the finish of your product: oil finishes may be renewed by rubbing a light application of a penetrating oil with a very fine steel wool and wiping with a clean soft cloth to remove any excess oil.

Overall experience was great. Delivery was smooth except for a mistake on when and where to deliver it. It was addressed quickly. Bed is lovely and really good quality framing in my opinion. I was worried the slats would be flimsy but they're reinforced. Only issue with the bed itself is that the full size only has one drawer and not two like the listing says. False advertising. Is there a reason why it says two when there's only one drawer?

Bed is extremely sturdy and heavy. I paid for setup and it was very efficient and I am very satisfied with the bed. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is that when I started using it, both drawers moved in and out smoothly with no noise; two weeks later, the drawers still work but one of them makes a clicking noise when opening and closing. Still, overall, very satisfied.

We purchased a set of twin Karsten storage beds for a spare room. Although the beds seem well made, the storage drawers are flimsy and poorly made. One of the drawers had literally fallen apart, and after closer inspection, a dove tail joint was never nailed together. Fortunately we able to nail and glue the joint back together. The beds look great, but for what we paid, we are not impressed with the quality.

We love the Karsten series, so we purchased the king size bed. One of the side railings was slightly warped, and the pre installed hardware on the headboard kept falling out (to help attach the side railings). Other than that, a beautiful bed.
