Using this in bedroom for now, after the remodel I can see it in the casual living room too. Exact amount of light I needed to brighten the room that only seems dark in winters shorter days.
This is a great lamp. We liked it so much that we ended up buying another one. It is really beautiful and even the shade itself is a very attractive color. The reviews related to have the switch in an odd spot are valid but we use a smart bulb so that isn't an issue for us. We are really very happy with it!
I love these lamps and they look great in my bedroom but the switch to turn them on and off is so far down on the cord it’s a real hassle to turn them on and off. Otherwise they are beautiful!
The base of the lamp is gorgeous and I love how it reflects the light. I am perplexed however with the on/off switch being placed so close to the outlet plug versus being close to the base of the lamp. This seems to be the standard for Scandinavian Design lamps that do not have an on/off by the light bulb. This design should be reconsidered.
As I can't seem to edit the review I placed earlier, I'm writing this as an adendum regarding the fit of the lamp shade. As the lamp had threads for something to screw on to secure the shade, I return to Dania to to see the lamp on display which WAS securely attached to the lamp and order the preceived missing part.. I discovered that the piece that secures the shade was on the lamp already and needed to be removed, before placing the shade on the lamp and then screwing that piece on top. As there were no instructions I failed to see the piece. It blended in. So, now the lamp is secure.
