Wood, reclaimed wood and veneer are all susceptible to both climate and the elements. Follow these basic care tips to ensure the longevity of your furniture:
CLEANING: When using cleaners, avoid wax-based furniture polish cleaners; some of the best-known brand name polishes on the market contain wax and silicone that will build up on the table surface, creating a "cloudy" appearance. Please read the contents and instructions carefully before applying a product to a wooden or veneered surface. For everyday cleaning, simply dust your pieces with a soft, lint-free cloth or feather duster. When heavier-duty cleaning is needed, wipe the surface with a damp (not wet) cloth or sponge, and follow immediately with a dry, clean, lint-free cloth.
DISCOLORATION: Please note that water will stain wood or veneered surfaces when left for a period of time, leaving a mark that can be much harder to fix. It is important to wipe in the direction of the wood grain to avoid unsightly streaks on the wood surface. Intense heat can lead to changes on the wood surface. Always use coasters, felt pads, trivets, or placemats to prevent heat and water from having direct contact with wood surfaces; such contact can cause discoloration. Direct sunlight may slightly darken or lighten wood furniture; move or rotate decorative objects on a regular basis to help to avoid odd light and dark patches. Note that based on the frequency of use and storage, dining table leaves may change tone at a different rate than the table itself.
GENERAL CARE: Avoid placing your furniture in highly humid or dry areas, such as directly next to air vents. Avoid contact with certain materials such as rubber, which might react with the finish of your product: oil finishes may be renewed by rubbing a light application of a penetrating oil with a very fine steel wool and wiping with a clean soft cloth to remove any excess oil.

My wife and I woke up this morning because the bed collapsed. We purchased the Reflections Eastern King Storage bed, in May 2022, so just over a year ago. The design of the bed is very poor. There are three legs supporting the storage under the bed and these legs are never able to be kept straight. As a result the hinge that attaches to the side of the bed got detached and the bed collapsed. Very very poor design. Will be calling Scandinavian Designs to see what repair they are willing to do given that the bed is not even a year old.

I bought the bed about one year ago. I'm very happy with everything it offers, like quality, functionality, color and looks. It looks so much nicer in person than the pictures on the website. I'm so glad that I found it that has storage because it was not easy to find a storage bed that met this standard.

We love this bed! It is beautiful and the drawers are very useful. Alas, three of the legs on the underside of the bed have collapsed so far. I assume this is due to my size / weight: 6’5”, 340lbs. But given the price, I’m a bit disappointed to have to resort to stacks of paperback books strategically arranged under the bed! If you are a human sized human, I’m sure you’ll have no problems.

I have Reflections full set bedroom for 8 years. Outstanding quality. I had to move two times with the help of professional movers. The bed, nightstand, and all my drawers still functioning like the first day. No unstable shaking, no squiggles of the bed, drovers slide perfect. If I would have to buy any other furniture, it would be Scandinavian Design.
This is a beautiful and very poorly designed bed. The mattress rests on six small legs (maybe 1.5 inches) attached to the bottom by an I’ll fitting screw. Whenever the bed moved a little, the leg would slip out of position. This am, after less than six months of service, it collapsed. They offered to send me replacement legs. Forget any guarantees on this.
